Traditional Funeral Service

A traditional funeral service should pay tribute to, and celebrate, the deceased’s life while providing the family a supportive, comforting, yet efficient environment for welcoming family and friends. A Carnes Funeral Home Traditional Funeral Service includes a service at one of our funeral home locations or local church of your choice. The service is conducted by our Funeral Director and supported by our staff. You may choose to have viewing or visitation hours the evening before and/or prior to the funeral service. Photographs and other memorabilia may be brought and included to further personalize your service.

Funeral Planning Services

Perhaps you are planning ahead and at the beginning of the information gathering process. Or you may have just lost a loved one and are feeling overwhelmed by the various legal and financial considerations involved.


In either case, our experienced and compassionate staff is ready to answer your questions, address any requirements or concerns and provide advice and professional management of the entire process.

Traditional Funeral Service

Basic Traditional Funeral Service 

A Carnes Funeral Home Traditional Funeral Service includes a service at one of our funeral home locations or local church of your choice. The service is conducted by our Funeral Director and supported by our staff. You may choose to have viewing or visitation hours the evening before and/or prior to the funeral service. Photographs and other memorabilia may be brought and included to further personalize your service.

Package Includes:

  • Pick up and transportation of the deceased
  • Listing of obituary (newspaper and online)
  • Full preparation of the deceased for Visitation Services
  • Casketing of the deceased (your choice of casket at additional charge)
  • Facility and staff for one day of Visitation
  • Traditional funeral service (facility, Funeral Director and staff)
  • Hearse and driver
  • Managing and submission of certificates

Graveside

Funeral Service

A Carnes Funeral Home Graveside Funeral Service includes a short service held at the gravesite, conducted before your family and friends of the deceased.

Basic Carnes Traditional Funeral Service

The Graveside Funeral Service may be conducted immediately following a Traditional Funeral Service; it also is an alternative should you prefer not to have a visitation or a funeral service at our funeral home or your church. The Graveside Funeral Service consists of family and friends meeting at the grave for a short service conducted by our Funeral Director and clergy of your choosing.

Package Includes:

  • Pick up and transportation of the deceased
  • Casketing of deceased (your choice of casket at additional charge)
  • Transportation of deceased to gravesite
  • Graveside funeral service (Funeral Director and staff)
  • Managing and submission of certificates

Memorial

Funeral Service

A Carnes Funeral Home Memorial Service is conducted without the deceased present. 

Basic Carnes Memorial Funeral Service 

It can be held in conjunction with a Cremation Service or direct burial service. Photographs and memorabilia can add the perfect personal touch to this meaningful tribute. Our experienced staff is available to offer suggestions and alternatives. The Memorial Funeral Service can be held in one of our funeral home chapels or at a location of your choice.

  • Memorial service planning session
  • Memorial service (facility, Funeral Director and staff)

External Funeral Services (optional)

Your funeral service costs will vary based on the services you choose. In addition to the actual funeral service, certain charges external to Carnes Funeral Home will occur.


As a convenience for you in your time of need, we can arrange all necessary external services (such as cemetery charges) for you. Although at additional cost, our service here can be a great convenience to you and also minimize the need for you to write numerous, separate checks to separate entities.

Carnes Funeral Home can assist with, advise and take care of all pre-planning and at need funerals, cremations, burials, memorials, or medical body donation services of your choosing. We will also accept your pre-need plan, even if you purchased it at another funeral establishment.
