Silbert Lee Burnside Obituary (1931 - 2015)

Silbert Lee (Sid) Burnside went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday the 3rd of November 2015 with family by his side. He is survived by his loving wife Evelyn of 62 years, daughters Linda Cermak of League City, JoAnn Harris and husband James of Texas City, son Robert of Texas City and preceded in death by his loving daughter Diane Gonzalez. Sid is also survived by 9 loving grandchildren, 16 loving great grandchildren and brothers Gary Burnside of Cincinnati, OH and Michael Burnside of Alvin, TX. Sid served his country honorably in the United States Air Force and retired from the Galveston County Sheriffs Department/Mainland Medical Center. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be sent to charities that support our Veterans and always remember to Pay it Forward. Burial will be in Monroe, LA.
