Reyna Esmeralda Ibanez Obituary (1966 - 2019)

Reyna Esmeralda Ibanez was born on September 9, 1966 in Punta Gorda, Belize. She passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2019, in Texas City, Texas. Reyna is preceeded in death by her grandmother, Francisca Sanchez, her mother, Edna Rose Acosta, and Aunt Victoria Preston. She was raised in Galveston, Texas and attended Galveston public schools. Reyna is survived by her daughters, Janel Kirkwood and her husband, Patrick; Fashaun Ibanez, Ashley Minix, Ivon Minix, Jenny Ibanez, Fawntain Ibanez, and Reyna Ramirez; 13 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; Aunt Ines Pinto; two brothers, Victor Manuel Aldana and his wife Sara; JD Graham and his wife Miriam; sister Lilia Rodriguez and her husband, Manuel; five nephews, four nieces and numerous cousins. The family will receive visitors at 10 AM on Monday, June 10, 2019, at East End First - Primera Assembly of God, 1801 Post Office Street, Galveston, Texas 77550. Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11 AM, followed by a Graveside Committal Service at Lakeview Cemetery in Galveston, Texas.
