Worth passed away on May 23, 2014. She was born in Galveston, Texas to parents, Charles and Vera Gardenhire. Ouida is preceded in death by husband, Capt. Raymond J. Worth and parents. She is survived by sons, Richard and Raymond Worth; five grandchildren, Eric, Phillip, Travis, Colin and Kacie; five great-grandchildren, Avery, Jaden, Ayvah, Koby and Allie as well as a host of family and friends. Guests are invited to share in the Celebration of Life Visitation for Mrs. Ouida B. Worth from 10:00 - 11:00a.m., Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Carnes Funeral Home -Texas City, 3100 Gulf Freeway, 77591. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at with interment to follow at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock, TX. The family expresses special thanks to Total Care Christus Hospice.
