Lydia Lopez Kasey Obituary (1944 - 2011)

Lydia Lopez Kasey, 66, of La Porte, went to be with the Lord on April 9, 2011. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am, Friday, April 15, at Carnes Funeral Home in Texas City with Pastor Manual De La Cerda officiating. Burial will follow at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 14, from 6 to 7 pm at Carnes Funeral Home with an evening service beginning at 7pm. Lydia was born August 3, 1944 in Galveston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father, Juan S. Lopez; her sister, Juanita L. Rehm and her niece, Lisa A. Lopez. Her memory is cherished by her son, David Lopez of Houston; mother Belen M. Lopez of La Porte; brothers Jessie Lopez and wife Beatrice of League City and Pedro Lopez and wife Alma of La Porte; sisters Linda Maldonado and husband Manuel of La Porte and Sylvia Gordon and husband Joseph of La Marque; numerous nephews, nieces and extended family.
