James Philip Svec Sr. Obituary (1940 - 2013)

James Philip Svec Sr., 72 a long time resident of Galveston, Texas passed away on May 29, 2013. Phil was born in Houston, Texas on September 6, 1940. He graduated from Milby High School. He served in the United States Army and went to University of Houston. He was the owner of Printing Solutions for many years. He was proud of his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He also loved Galveston Island and enjoyed his time there before and after he retired. Phil is preceded in death by his parents William (Bill) Philip Svec and Dorothy Hubbard Svec. Phil is survived by his son James Philip Svec, Jr. his wife Donna Svec and their two sons Nicolas Philip Svec and Brody Philip Svec. His Daughter Carol Christine Hart her husband Edmund Hart and Grandson Colton Randel Crunk. A memorial service will be held from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm on Sunday June 2, 2013 at Carnes Funeral Home located at 3100 Gulf Freeway (Exit 15) Texas City, Texas.
