Dorothy Ellen Roach Obituary (1920 - 2017)

Dorothy Ellen Roach, 96, passed away at home in Houston, Texas, on January 2, 2017. She was born in Galveston, TX to Edward and Edna Berg on October 5, 1920. She married Harold James Roach on August 26, 1944. She is preceded in death by husband, Harold James (Jimmy) Roach; sisters, Thelma Catching, Ruby Urbani and Edna Mae Praker; brother, Edward Berg; brothers-in-law, John Catching Sr., Angelo Urbani Jr. and William Praker; and son-in-law, Leon Joseph Napoli Jr. She is survived by daughters, Judy Golden (Richard) and Jackie Napoli; granddaughters, Jaime and Julie Napoli; great-grandpuppy, Kona Napoli and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Nicholas and Camron Johns, John O'Connor, Gary and Jerry Praker, Paul Huerta Sr. and John Jessen. Your guests are invited to share in the Celebration of Life Visitation for Dorothy from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., with a 7:00 p.m. Vigil Service on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Carnes Funeral Home - Texas City, Texas 77591. Funeral Services will be Celebrated 9:00 a.m. Friday, January 6, 2017 at Carnes Funeral Home -Texas City with the Rite of Committal to follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Dickinson, Texas.
