Delnor F. Emry Obituary (1942 - 2020)

Delnor F. Emery, 77, of Port Lavaca passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at his residence. Delnor was born in Godfrey, Illinois on Dec 5, 1942. He was the son of the late Louis and Julia Emery. He went on to marry the love of his life, Judith Ann Blasingim Emery on August 4, 1962. They shared 50 years of marriage before her passing. He enjoyed fishing, racing cars, and loved to be outside in his garage. He will be remembered for being a loving husband, the best father, and one amazing popo/grandpa. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by 2 sons, Delnor (Sherry) Emery of Davis OK, Jalyn (Melissa) Emery of Port Lavaca TX. 4 daughters, Juanita (Jim) Baker of O'Fallon MO, Judy Rodriguez of Port Lavaca TX, Luwayna (Dawayne) Wilson of Port Lavaca TX, and Peggy Jasso (Eric Morgan) Of Port Lavaca TX. 15 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, 2 grandchildren (Tasha & Randy Ybarra) and 4 siblings, Jerome Emery, Sylvester Emery, Christopher Emery and Anna Lafferty, and multiple brothers and sisters in-laws. A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
