Cush Dee Farina, Jr. Obituary (1951 - 2014)

Cush Dee Farina, Jr. was born December 19, 1951 in Galveston, TX. He peacefully passed away at his home in Texas City on Monday, April 21, 2014. Cush was preceded in death by his parents Cush Farina, Sr. and Florine Farina, brother, Earl Farina, sister in law, Angie Farina and son in law Eric Bedard. Cush is survived by his wife, Debra Farina, daughters, Dawndee Bedard of Texas City and Stephanie Burklow and son in law, Brian Burklow of Kingwood, granddaughters, Paizley Bedard and Zoe Bedard of Texas City, Shelby Burklow, Lindsey Burklow and Katie Burklow of Kingwood, brother, SJ "Buddy" Farina of Santa Fe and sister in law, Jeanie Farina of Santa Fe and numerous nieces and nephews. Cush was a life-long resident of Galveston County, proud to be a "BOI." He had a long career as a welder. He enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters, riding his Harley, doing cook offs, playing poker with friends, fishing and hunting, helping others and just loving life. A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2014, at Carnes Funeral Home in Texas City. The visitation will be from 5:30pm - 6:30pm. A Memorial Service will follow begining at 6:30pm.
