Ashley was born in Galveston, Texas on October 22, 1986 to Warren Denefield and Gayla Ivey Sallie. Ashley was an honor and distinguish graduate at LaMarque High School Class of 2005 and a 2011 graduate of UT-Austin. She was a writer, instructional designer, entrepreneur, and educator. Ashley worked at Cummings Elementary School in Houston, Texas.
