Odessa Medel Carrillo Obituary (1945 - 2017)

Odessa Carrillo, 72, of Galveston, TX went to her home in Heaven on March 04th, 2017. She was born January 16th, 1945, in Houston TX, daughter of Sammy and Janie Sampson. Odessa's life was filled with joy of being surrounded by her loving family, her greatest gift from God. She so treasured her family time, as they so treasured her. Odessa retired from Lipton Tea and was currently working as a Produce Associate for Walmart. Odessa was proceeded in death by her parents Sammy & Janie Sampson, and her husband Aristedes, sister Stella, and brother Frank. She is survived by her loving children, Angela Cripps and husband Michael, Sergio Carrillo and wife Connie, Javier Carrillo and wife Christina, and Michael Carrillo, grandchildren Sergio Jr., Joshua, Briana, Kyra, Kile, great-grandchildren, Ryan, Hailey and Trey III. The memorial service will be held at Northside Baptist Church, 2801 N Logan St. in Texas City on March 09th, 2017 at 5:00 pm with Pastor Clay Bowers and Pastor Raju Samuel officiating.
