Isabel Lopez Roney, 69, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015. She was born in Harlingen, Texas on June 7, 1946. She is preceded in death by her Parents: Cecilio Lopez Sr. and Felipa Coronado LopezI 3/4 Husband: Roy Russell RoneyI 3/4 Brothers: Cecil Lopez Jr., Miguel Acasio Lopez, Miguel "Mike" Lopez, and Felipe "Phillip" LopezI 3/4 Sister: Irma Lopez. She is survived by her Daughters: Maria Luisa Carter, Elizabeth Mitchell, Rosie Solis, Victoria Roney and Jessica Isabel Roney (Rigoberto Rios Jr.)I 3/4 Sons: Robert McIntosh Jr. (Yvonne) and Thurman Roney (Katrina). Sisters: Lydia Hinojosa, Norma Ortiz and Maria Irma LopezI 3/4 Brothers: Julio Lopez, Cervando Lopez and Sergio Lopez. 22 grandchildren and 5 great!grandchildren. Isabel was a great mother and a even better grandmother. She took pride in her grandchildren. She was loved very much and will be missed by so many. She loved early morning breakfast with her daughter, going to the casinos with her friends, and being with her family. Words cannot describe the emotions her family is dealing with, but we know the good Lord has her and she is watching over us. Memorial Services will be 10:00 am. Saturday, September 12th, 2015 at St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church, 1604 9 th Ave N., Texas City, TX 77590, Reciting of the Rosary followed by a Memorial Mass.
