Patsy Jean Sams Mackey, a native Houstonian; 1953 graduate of Phillis Wheatley High School, transitioned this life on May 14, 2012. Patsy is the daughter of Ruby C. Yoakum and Raymond Sams, Sr. (Deceased). She is the mother of Ray (Tanya) C. Mackey, III and Prudence (Brian) B. Williams. Her Life Celebration Services will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012, with Visitation at 10:00 a.m., Service 11:00 a.m. at the Southwest Central Church of Christ 4011 W. Belfort, Houston, Texas 77025, Minister Steve Sandifer, officiating.
