{Jan 13, 1942 - Jun 12, 2012}

Patricia Clarke

Patricia  “Pat” Ann Clarke, 70, passed away  Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at her home in Pasadena, Texas.  She was born January 13, 1942 in Orange County, Florida.

Pat was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother, sister, and friend.  She is survived by her husband Dwain Owen Allwood, Jr., her daughter Sheryl Ann De Leon, step-daughter D’Anna Nicole Allwood, sons Michael Allen and James Rodney Clarke, grandaughters Krystal Ann Clarke, Anjolina Julianna De Leon, Kayla Nicole Macias, grandsons Jesse Alejandro De Leon, Joshua Lewis Macias, Kaden Lee Naranjo, greatgranddaughters Miranda Lizzette Rodriguez, Milaina Leann Rodriguez, and brother Richard Sewell.  Pat is proceeded in death by her mother Hazel Jane Sewell, brother Ronald Sewell, and her sisters-in-law Sandra and Mertis Sewell.

Pat stood a valiant battle against the throat cancer that tried to take her life away.  She was strong, courageous, and didn’t lose her hope even when the odds were against her.  Like any one, she had her doubts when the cancer came back but she looked to her family for reassurance and strength.   Even though she grew weak, she was never too tired to listen or talk if you needed her.   Her huge smile could light up the darkest room.  When one of her daughters confided in her for strength, Pat told her  “Don’t worry about me.  I’m not.  I have you.”

Pat loved her family.  She enjoyed the family gatherings for backyard BBQ and swimming in the pool.  Pat was cared for by her family during her good days and the bad.  She never asked for much and was always grateful.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 16, 2012, 2 PM at Rosewood Funeral Home in Pasadena, Texas.  A family gathering will follow at 4206 Alecia Drive, Pasadena, Texas.

Please feel free to write any condolences in her memory book before or after the memorial service.
Momma, you’d be proud of us.  Thank you.  We love you.
