Margaret Campbell

Margaret Campbell was born in Earlsboro, Oklahoma December 10, 1927.  She went to be with her maker on Saturday September 3, 2011 at the age of 83.  She was preceded in death by her husband Billy “Daddy Bill” Campbell and her son Michael Campbell. 
Margaret is survived by her son Scott Campbell and wife Dianne Campbell of Bakersfield, California; son Jeff Campbell and Kelly Collins of Bayou Vista, Texas.   Grandchildren Shawn McCalahan of Belton, Texas; Casey Campbell of Kyle, Texas, Morgan Campbell of Topeka, Kansas, Stuart Campbell of San Luis Obispo, California; Hunter Campbell of Bayou Vista, Texas and two Great Grandchildren Delanie McClahan and Dillon McCalahan of Belton Texas.   Margaret was also survived by her brother Butch & Kaki Walker; sister, Mary Burnett and numerous nieces and nephews. 
Margaret was a longtime resident of Alameda, Texas and a Lifetime Member of the Methodist Women’s Society.  She began her love with traveling in 1967 with a family move to Alaska, and continued traveling to Great Britain, Europe and many other adventures….including Australia, boat cruises and Las Vegas. On her return to the USA she lived in Florida and Corpus Christi. Her final residence was in Webster, Texas close to her youngest son.  She will be put to rest in Corpus Christi next to her beloved husband.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 from 4:00 pm until 6:30 p.m. at Carnes Funeral Home (exit 15) 3100 Gulf Freeway, Texas City, TX 77591. Funeral Service will follow at 6:30 p.m.
In lieu of normal remembrances, Friends and Family who wish may make memorial gifts to a charity of their choice in her name or the Methodist Women’s Society.
